Skincare Guide
CLEANSER
Cream. Foam. Gel. Doesn’t matter. Its job is to get on your skin and clean up dirt and excess oil. Without leaving it tight and stripped. Just to prep it for the serum and moisturizer. You’re rinsing it off, after all. It’s not going to tackle skin concerns. So, we ain’t interested in making one.
SERUM
Now, we’re talking. A serum is a lightweight substance that contains high concentrations of active ingredients designed to penetrate the deeper layers of your skin. Look for the serum that tackles your skin concerns. Some are great multi-taskers. But don’t get caught up in the mess. Clogging your skin with layers of different serums aggravates the very concerns you desperately try to eradicate. Your skin deserves some pity. Give it some.
MOISTURIZER
It’s the most bought skincare item. Hence, a lot of room for misconceptions. A moisturizer aims to lock in hydration that lasts. Some of the better ones do more than this. A lot more. Like combating different skin concerns. And strengthen your skin barrier. Yep, it’s a big deal. Your skin’s gonna look a lot better. And you’re gonna walk with a lot more confidence. But that’s about it. No miracle cures. No glass skin. Let’s cut the fantasy folks. It’s about time we get back to reality.
SUNSCREEN
Underrated. Overstated. The greatest mistake mankind makes. Every dermatologist screams out loud. You can have the best serums. The most luxurious moisturizers. You can spend your life savings. The sun isn’t going to give a dam. Sunscreen is the most vital step of any skincare routine. It blocks off UVA and UVB rays effectively. Almost every skin concern, from premature aging to hyperpigmentation, can be worsened by sun damage. And no science-backed formulation can override this. Never forget your sunscreen. It’s pretty easy to find a good one that doesn’t cost much. So, there’s really no excuse. And no, we’re not making one for that exact reason.
Simple. Complete. Timeless.
*Every other product you see out there, from face masks to face mists, have no significant application in the long term. If you like the experience, go for it. But just remember to fulfil the critical needs of your skin first.
